I am not sure if this is of interest, but: it appears in addition to there being different ROM versions, there are also different builds of those versions that were distibuted.

On this forum thread user "bobzee" comments they have the 2 different cartridges (green, orange). They post screenshots of the 2 differing versions:

Colour Version Build Date
Green 1.000E 1834 Mon Aug 16 12:10:59 BST 1999
Orange 1.067E 2515 Fri May 5 23:42:59 BST 2000

I have just compared this to my green label cartridge however and my build is:

Colour Version Build Date
Green 1.067E 2510 Tue Nov 23 18:13:18 GMT 1999

On your Green Label, do you have a Trainer you can Enable/Disable by pressing the R-Button on the Main Menu?
This means you can search for your own codes via the trainer, where as my experience with the green ones has been that it is just a standard version with no Trainer ability.

1 067E_1
1 067E_2
1 067E_3

This is my Orange Label with the R-Button pressed to enable the Trainer as shown above.

@TheGent Yes - my green label cartridge has this functionality.

@scottcharlesworth Well I have never ever come across that before. The closest I have come to that is when I flashed my Green Label with the German version 1.067G using BIOS V1.067E (English) which turned out to be the G from https://www.nesworld.com/article.php?system=n64&data=n64-xploder
