Release Preparation

There are a few final items that need to be completed before the plugin is ready for v1.0.0 release.

  • Create a demo video for showcasing the usage of the plugin in the Wiki
  • Add README for project documenting the current features
  • Add CHANGELOG for tracking changes from v1.0.0 onwards
  • Package the plugin : pre-compiled binaries via GitHub workflow or ship with build.sh file
    1. Pre-compiled binaries would restrict the number of users that can use this plugin, since platform support is the responsibility of maintainers
    2. Shipping build file would increase the number of users, but require them to have cargo installed on their systems, and run the build file as part of plugin setup
