Hi, and thanks for your interest! Not currently, no, although you could always add it in after the fact. I've tagged this as an enhancement and I don't think it would be too difficult to implement. Unfortunately development has slowed as I think we've all been slammed with other things, but I'm hoping to return to this project soon!

A little late, but this is now addressed! It only works with PDF output at present, but if you're using bookdown and want it there too let me know and I can come back to this.

Thank you! It would be great to see it work with bookdown. I could not reference the equations in bookdown::pdf_document2 @datalorax
