Agent Protocol seems a novel idea, I found it while watching the ai.engineer conference which would point to a common ground for the field to evolve, and whether the protocol is embraced or not is out of my scope of understanding, however, it looks like a good starting point nonetheless.

This is essential IMO @daveshap. For this project to have a clear focus going forward I think we need a divide between tools which are global (A part of the code base) like creating new agents, making group chats etc. And local tool to individual agents as shown in my demos, such that any agent can use it's local tool or global tools for tasks we have written code for such as making new agents or creating chats.

Having a standardised API structure like this makes that divide clear and allows a document or static implementation of how agents should perform global tasks
