I have a Sofar inverter with wifi dongle and can change inverter state from GUI and now I am thinking about letting Predbat trigger my inverter status for charging and discharging.

Unrelated but if anyone has a solution:
Also for some reason my wifi dongle gets new ip even when I have set it manually in my router config. EDIT: Found from solarman dongle settings -> Quick set -> Obtain an IP address automatically select disable and re enter wifi password.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Alternative is to use Sofar2Mqtt, but this integration seems to do the same job.
