Can we get this package compatible with DBT Core 1.9 versions.

1. We are trying to use the cumulative and granular configs in metricflow. Currently on 1.8 it is not available and 1.9 is not compatible with dbt metricflow.
2. Also is there a way to define the datatype for metrics and dimensions exclusively(maybe adding a new optional config which can assist with this in metrics, dimensions and measures) so that different data types can be used as and when required as currently we have to iterate over them through the underlying column definition. cc:Snehal Bende
