🔎 Research and Community Engagement
1. Research Program Kickoff
December marked the launch of a new research program aimed at gathering community insights to guide Darwinia’s strategies in 2025. Key highlights include:
Conducted multiple feedback calls with community members to better understand their priorities.
December was an active month for community engagement, featuring several initiatives to connect with and align with our community, including:
Feedback Calls: Engaged in discussions with community members to foster relationships and gather insights.
Arbitrum AMA with Darwinia: Hosted a session to highlight Darwinia’s capabilities and answer questions from the community.
Prepared actionable insights based on research findings for implementation in 2025.
Technical Updates
1. ENS Support for Collator Staking Website
Addressed the issue of ENS name support for the collator-staking-ui-v2 website, as outlined in Issue #31. The problem revolved around ENS names not displaying properly. Key progress includes:
Attempted to read ENS names from the Darwinia chain, but it lacked ENS support.
Successfully implemented a solution using Ethereum RPC URLs, though occasional errors occurred with the RPC provider.
The solution and current status are detailed in PR #33, with further refinements planned.
2. MsgPort New Design Implementation
Implemented the new design for the MsgPort website, addressing issues as outlined in Issue #38. Key progress includes:
Successfully rolled out the new design.
Fixed reported issues and minor bugs.
A few small bugs remain, which are currently being resolved.
The updated design and fixes are documented in PR #39.

Focused on connecting Darwinia with the global blockchain community through events like Cosmoverse and the Cardano Summit. These efforts showcased Darwinia’s continued strength and momentum while fostering organic content generation and networking opportunities.
November:
Launched the new RING DAO website with a modern design to better serve the community. Prepared a comprehensive 2025 conference plan to ensure Darwinia’s visibility and engagement throughout the coming year. Additionally, the Community Research Plan was initiated, laying the groundwork for understanding community needs and demands.
December:
Delivered technical progress with the ENS support for Collator Staking and the new MsgPort website design. Launched the Research Program, with actionable insights published in the research report. Engaged with the community through feedback calls and hosted an Arbitrum AMA to further strengthen ties.
Q4 provided the foundation for impactful strategies heading into 2025, ensuring that Darwinia remains aligned with its community and technical goals.
