I've just discovered this project and found it abandoned. It's a little pity. Seems to be interesting

AirBnB did not force them to sell anything so do not blame AirBnB for anything. If they truly believed on what they were doing, then they wouldn't sell it and take the quick money.

When you buy a company, it's usually the people that you are after, not the product. Products are very easy to copy and reverse engineer. A good team if hard to find.
