Posting long comments seem to cause post failure... and comment gets lost :-( :-(.
In my view:

  • if there is a limitation, it should be made clear while writing
  • if a post fails, the actual reason should be displayed (not a generic "something went wrong" message)
  • posted values should be remembered locally (per talk) and the form filled again with them to let the user edit and retry. Only drop them after post has succeeded.
