The frontend needs to look up an observation's tracks. For example, you're looking at an observation and you want to see all of its associated tracks.
Currently, it does this inefficiently, by looping over all tracks to find those who link back to the given observation. (See findAssociatedTrack.ts.)

It would be nice for Core to expose a way to do this more efficiently.
