Spectrum analyzer stutters in Now Playing #987
Comments
This might be related to #895 |
Stuttering appears to happen when using a monitor which has a refresh rate higher than 120 Hz. I currently don't have such monitor. Help would be appreciated. |
I have the same problem, I have an Asus monitor running at 144Hz. What kind of help is needed? |
Tried the workaround found in #895 but reopening the now playing tab brought back the issue as said within there. Would love to have a fix, literally just started using this and already loving it but this is the 1 issue I have seen. Edit: I have a 144hz monitor. |
Some users report stuttering of the spectrum analyzer on the now playing screen. On the collections screen, the spectrum analyzer works correctly.
It's happening in both Windows 10 1809 and 1903.
Extra information from a user:
I have a duel monitor setup, one is 1080p @ 60hz, the other is 1440p @ 166hz, there is a bug in the NVidia drivers that causes stuttering in windows when two displays are using different refresh rates. I tested this bug with both monitors @ 60hz and everything works fine. When I bumped my main monitor up to 165hz is when the stuttering starts in Spectrum Analyzer. I suspect this issues is being caused by the NVidia driver. I have only seen this behavior in the edge browser for video playback, the new Chromium browser somehow is not affected by this bug.
