Name:

Pixel Patrons

Purpose:

A decentralized marketplace for commissioning digital art and subscribing to digital artists.

Description:

Artists accept commission requests and receive payment in ether. They can also offer a monthly subscription to their content.

Artists can:

  • create an account
  • create a page on the app that links their website, shows a few samples of their work, and lists price ranges
  • add their Pixel Patrons page link on their twitter profile and website so customers can find them
  • receive and accept requests from customers
  • upload art to the app to fulfill requests
  • receive payment in ether
  • post updates and offers to their followers
  • receive monthly donations in ether from subscribers in exchange for exclusive content

Customers can:

  • create an account
  • submit proposals to artists
  • stake payment in ether through a smart contract
-download the art through the app when it is complete
  • like and follow artists to keep up with their work
  • subscribe to an artist on a monthly basis to receive the exclusive digital art they are creating

Pixel Patrons app will:

  • allow searching and filtering by category, style and subject matter of art and name of artist
  • facilitate smart contracts for art sales so that neither sellers or buyers are at risk
  • support the sale of the art as an NFT if desired
  • reduce commission overhead costs to both artists and customers
  • receive a 1% fee on transactions to cover development and governance
  • require staking of accounts in DNT, where a user's failure to hold up their end of a contract results in a loss of staked DNT
  • reward users with small amounts of DNT for each transaction

Investors can:

  • stake DNT on the app to participate in governance and voting on features
  • receive a share of the earned ether in proportion to the amount of staked DNT
