Either stop or implemenet a back-off if the URL doesn't resolve so don't end up banned

Right now if the user doesn't check after setting their participant and team IDs or forgets to clear the team ID in a new year, they can end up banned because of hitting non-existant endpoints

How do you get unbanned?

Just wait a few hours or for sure the next day. Happened to me, too, this year when I forgot to change to my new ID
