This is likely more an issue related to the MHK2 but this audience may have had similar experience or know if there are ways to mitigate it, whether on the device or via Home Assistant automation.
I've recently noticed that my heat pump will come on seemingly randomly even though the current temp is well above the target set point temp. I started to look at the current temp data being reported and would see these huge swings (e.g., from 70 to 61) occur briefly but it would trigger the heat pump to come on and then moments later it would turn off and the current temp would be back to its previously read temp.
My assumption is that maybe the RF connection to the MHK2 is being lost and the unit is then defaulting to the current temperature sensor within the indoor unit itself, which is in my crawlspace and obviously colder than within the home.
Maybe there is something within the configuration which can adjust for this, or if others have thoughts.
