  • Clarify the Ruby installation information
    • Recommend one way of installing Ruby
  • The warning about having a non-LLVM compiler is now unnessary
  • bundle exec rake install:dev will install Redis automatically
  • Add detail to the MongoDB installation instructions. The db directory should be created automatically when bundle exec rake install:dev is run

  • Describe how god can be used to manage background processes and start the app:
    • Use script/start_god to start background processes
    • Use 'god terminate' followed by script/start_god to restart, since god restart seems to cause problems with Sidekiq worker
