[Feature]: Option to use Offline Installers? #154
Comments
It cant be that hard to let the users replace the included/downloaded recovery image with their own can it? I'd be happy to help if you could give some pointers, thanks |
But how do you get that offline installer? You still would have to download it, so how does it save time? |
I already have the installers downloaded from other hackintosh's, so yeah... I see why this is not such a big issue for most people now, lol |
Hi @kroese , I would like to know if this project can be set up and run in an offline environment. I need to perform macOS installation tests in a closed network environment. I can download all the necessary files from a networked environment beforehand and transfer them to the closed network. Could you please assist me with this? I referred to this guide: https://github.com/kholia/OSX-KVM/blob/master/run_offline.md, but I encountered issues when trying to follow the steps. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |
@wings2020 You can just run the container on a system with internet, and after macOS is finished installing, stop the container and copy the whole |
