Cant stop playing.
May be some of the config can be selected by players.
Also more modes can be introduced like only powerup mode, upgrade mode etc.

I haven't really thought about extending the base game, I am kinda done with the project and rather do something new, it was more like a learning experience for me personally to figure out how to make my own games. I guess there is a custom map editor that you could use to create your own maps, but not sure if that satisfies your needs.
