Client side page batching causes script jumping

Having disabled client side page batching (hiding pages which are not visivle given the point in the script), we found that this stops the issue where clients jump to the wrong place in the script or get stuck.

Investigate this logic, and see if we can determine what is causing the issue so that it can safely be enabled again
