why do the LEDs flicker occaisonally? #5
Comments
I have a similar problem. Generally the LEDs will turn off after a short time of powering on the duckie, and then will start blinking erratically. Then they will sometimes blink erratically, sometimes on different colours, often with a simultaneous increase in duckie processor load (spike in processor load for all 4 duckie processors) |
Can you make a screenshot of |
Sorry, I'm newish to github and didn't see your answer! Great to hear that the LEDs turning off is normal. Sadly I've since flashed the SD card again with master19 (did it with the daffy command before, and ever since I did that it does not happen anymore, they stay off like they should :) But that means I can't provide what you asked. Many thanks anyways! |
So, I reinstalled daffy for some other reason and the flickering restarted. It seems to be an issue only with daffy and not with master19. And here's the portainer output The flickering started as soon as the dt18_03 stack was downloaded and run. It's usually a very brief flicker of white LED light, sometimes from all 5 LEDs, sometimes from just a few of them. Very rarely the flicker will be in another color, like Blue, usually with less than all 5 LEDs. The flicker occurs about once per minute in an erratic fashion docker ps -a shows that images duckiebot-interface and device-online are restarting every minute or so with exit code 0 (so no error?) I'm unsure if this is nominal behaviour or not |
