I restarted HA while on treadmill. It wouldn't connect at all after the restart. I tried disabling the integration for a minute before enabling. Still wouldn't connect for more than a second. Deleting the device from the integration and re-adding works. Then it was back in a few seconds. So after a while I stopped the exercise, turned off the treadmill (and its power), and then powered it on an hour later. Couldn't connect at all. I tried turning off and on power multiple times. It wouldn't connect. Logbook didn't even show any connection attempts. Restarted HA and then Logbook started showing connection attempts. After 2 minutes or so it got a stable connection that didn't disconnect.

So it seems deleting the device and re-adding or restarting HA is the only fix when this happens. I also tried reloading the Bluetooth integration but it changed nothing. Does it sound like a Bluetooth connection issue or something else? I keep the treadmill stowed away under my bed when not in use, so I can't keep it powered on like you do.

This error I got a bit later after it had been powered off for a few hours before turning it on:

I did two things that seems to have fixed it or at least made it much better. Firstly, I put my BT dongle (Orico BTA-508) into an extension cable. That improved it a bit. But then I replaced it with Orico BTA-409 which is in the recommended adapter list of HA. Now I don't have any issues it seems. I'll let you close the issue in case the errors are still interesting.
