My treadmill has a display that shows time elapsed. But apparently when it reaches 6000 seconds - 99:59 (mm:ss) it starts at 00:00 again. And apparently the data sent to HA does the same.

Would it be possible for HA to keep going somehow? Or do you think this is how it should be?
