Column and row parameters are not working correctly

First: thank you for clusterssh! I've used it for decades, and it's so handy.

The other day, I tried to use the -x and -y settings for the first time, and found they did not work. -x had no effect. I even tried -x 300 and the window was not any wider than normal.

Using -y 100 caused the windows to tile as shown in the screen shot.

--fillscreen fills the screen vertically, but not horizontally, if that matters.
