Configuration option request: Show year in dates

As a site owner with bookings to be made a year or two into the future
I would like the date picker to have a configuration option to show the year in the selected dates (the 'pills' once the dates have been clicked on)
So that it is obvious to my users that they are booking for a future year, not just a future date.

Note: Mobile styling may be a challenge here and we may have to have 'To' and 'From' on different lines when this config option is enabled.
