Short Textual Description

Create smart transportation and work schedulers to help commuters, transportation authorities, employers, and other community service providers (e.g. health providers, child care, schools) use the tools we develop to mitigate the problems of the growing job-housing mismatch that significantly and disproportionately affect low-income and vulnerable communities.

Why We Collect

Generate datasets to train and test tooling for real world deployments.

Research Question

Can we improve the commute experience for low-wage workers by adjusting commute timing or time for remote working of white-collar workers?

Research Question

How can public transit and transportation infrastructure be redesigned and retrofitted to support the proposed smart scheduling system, while being robust and adaptable to both local and global changes (e.g., COVID-19)?

Research Question

How can cities be planned to account for the proposed smart commute scheduling, smart transportation and transit infrastructure, and overall community mobility characteristics?

Short Textual Description

Why We Collect

@TylerMorton given that this is California, I would strongly suggest including Spanish as the second language. The app is internationalized in English and Spanish by default. You can just translate the English text on summary, research questions, etc using Google Translate if necessary.

Hi @shankari, That is a great idea, let's add Spanish as well.

@TylerMorton you need to fill out the related text in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish 😄
