We know a lot of you are here because you're looking for jobs that use earth data science skills. It can sometimes be a bit tricky to filter out which jobs are a good fit, and to figure out what keywords to use. For example, a lot of times we see GIS technician jobs come up with searches for earth data science -- but those jobs often require a different skill set and focus on smaller-scale projects that don't take advantage of coding skills.
I subscribe to a couple of job boards and lists to keep track of what's out there in terms of jobs that would be a good fits for certificate grads or almost grads. I have started posting on our LinkedIn group when I see good opportunities. If you'd like to get notifications about those posts, go ahead and connect with me on LinkedIn (I sent invites to a couple of you that I was able to find), and we'll add you to the group. If you let me know more specifically what you're looking for, I am happy to keep an eye out and tag you directly on those posts! And I'm always happy to reach out to connections I have if you want to get more information on a job post or organization.
(In general, I'm not posting things that require a graduate degree, so this may be less useful to those of you who are in a PhD program...but again if you let me know specifically what you're looking for I can keep an eye out.)
