According to README pykmaze

allows to transfer data from/to the device

However, I don't see an option in the usage message displayed with -h to upload a route in form of a GPX file on the device (KeyMaze 500). Either it's already supported, then the explanation should be enhanced, or it's not supported, yet, then the README should be adjusted.

Last commit is ... 7 years ago,this project is no longer active :-)
