Describe the bug
Downloaded AASX files contains the text "Intentionally empty." in aasx-origin.
This is like the solved issue in the Package Explorer eclipse-aaspe/package-explorer#29

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create an AASX file with the Package Explorer.
  2. Upload the AASX file to the AAS Environment.
  3. Download the AASX file from the AAS Environment.
  4. Unzip the AASX file.
  5. Find aasx/aasx-origin.
  6. The file contains the text "Intentionally empty."

Expected behavior
It should contain "Intentionally empty", without the dot, or be an empty file.
See IDTA-01005-3-0 (AAS Specification Part 5), page 18.

Note that the aasx/aasx-origin of the original Package Explorer AASX file contains the text "Intentionally empty", without the dot.

BaSyx (please complete the following information):

  • BaSyx Version [v2.0]
  • BaSyx SDK [basyx-java-server-sdk]
  • AAS Version [DotAAS V3]

Hello @JS-Aibel,

in your issue details about the versions used you specified that you are using the Python SDK. Was this a mistake because you opened the issue in the Java SDK repository?

Hi @aaronzi,

That was a typing error. It is for the basyx-java-server-sdk and the use of the https://wiki.basyx.org/en/latest/content/introduction/quickstart.html
I am using the aas-web-ui to upload and download the AASX.

I created a PR in AAS4J to fix this problem: eclipse-aas4j/aas4j#359

AAS4J will soon have a new release. Once this release is there we will update the dependency in BaSyx
