Injecting Custom Metadata into DCAT Catalog Root Node

Is there a way to directly inject fields into the DCAT root node catalog representation to add arbitrary metadata? I would like to add some generic metadata about the publisher of the catalog other than dspace:participantId. I looked at CatalogProtocolServiceImpl but it does not seem to be currently possible.

to be precise, technically, a Catalog extends Dataset, and Dataset has a field properties, which could contain any sort of information.

You could try a custom JerseyInterceptor, that inserts that metadata upon DSP egress.
