Steps to reproduce:

  • start Java LS in Che 7
  • open a Che 7 workspace in two browser's tabs
  • log in to the plugins sidecar

You will see that the Java LS server has been started twice in the same workspace.

How does VSCode Java prevent this?

VSCode prevents this, but not VSCode Java.
