There is no description of the issue so I don't know if you were thinking about that but I encountered several issues with the query view:

aql:true = true or aql:true = false: in both cases the evaluation result is One boolean has been returned and we don't know the value of this boolean result.
aql:self.myEnumAttribute: seems enums results are not handled by the query view
