The Amalgamation Examples Project

This is the Amalgamation Examples project, an open source project sponsored by Google Summer of Code. This project was created by Reinaldo de Souza Junior and mentored by Stéphane Bégaudeau.

The project consists of a series of tutorials targeting a set of technologies that comprise the Eclipse Amalgamation project: Xtext, Acceleo and EEF.

As a case study, the tutorials will address the development of a Domain Specific Language (DSL) targeting the development of Android applications. Each tutorial will result in the creation of one (or more) Eclipse plugin. At the end of all the tutorials you will have the tooling needed to create your own MDD workbench (based on DSL). TODO: Improve this paragraph with the DSL Toolkit book

The project companion Eclipse update site is available at http://reinaldojunior.net/eclipse-amalgamation-tutorials/. It contains all the Eslipse plugins resulting from the tutorials. It also contains these tutorials in the form of Eclipse Cheat Sheets.
