Note: The PoC is to determine if there are any blockers. Assuming this is fine, we can work to finalize the code and do additional communications with SRE.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • In Devstack, can compare results of local/internal codejail calls (in LMS container) with codejail as a service calls.

Implementation Notes:

  • In devstack.
  • We should communicate with SRE about plans, but there should be nothing extra for them at this time.
  • Should we implement parallel requests (more performant) as part of the PoC? Note: in all cases, this can follow a simple serial implementation.
  • For PoC, we won't need config to handle multiple codejail as a service. We won't even need this until Python upgrade after containerization. This should probably be a separate follow-on ticket than the follow-up ticket to complete the production-ready implementation of this work.
