got this message today. it's been working great for months- then it just died today. not sure what happened other than maybe latest HASS update- i know it's no being supported as much and elad-bar has moved on but I thought I'd try really helpful integration

I uninstalled the integration from HASS and from HACS reinstalled then had to flip a flag in Blue Iris that said allow LAN only, which had never mattered before. now it's working

Glad you got it working. Sounds like something with your BI install/config changed. I think there were a couple quick updates a few days ago in BI that may have had an impact.
I am using the latest BI and HA and haven't had any issues with the integration so unsure what you ran into. If it comes back, let me know and we can see what we can find.

really odd, had another user on reddit chime in that they're settings were unchanged, had updates HASS, but not sure if they had updated BI. anyway LAN only was still checked for him and working. as long as it's working I'm good. thanks for the quick response.

happened again today and the LAN option didn't fix anything. tried to delete the integration from hacs forward and start over. failed to connect, tried again this time it connected but only found 3 of cameras and it's very sluggish, coincidentally the RING integration is also causing issues for me today. so I can't be sure it's not one of the new HASS updates but the most prominent is BI integration

Can you add the reddit link or email it to me?
This sounds like more of a network or BI thing. The fact that it can't find all your cameras is odd since the integration isn't polling the network (so that may rule out your network), just BI. If you turn on debug logging and check the log do you see it list all the cameras?

Also, is BI UI3 behaving as expected?

BI UI3 is perfect, Ring app works perfect but both through HASS not so much
can. problem is i can reset the integration and sometimes it works, other time sit doesn't. yesterday it worked great for about 12 hours. i can connect to BI U3 from phone both in/out of network. my television and multiple devices. it appears to only be a HASS issue. log shows connections but no issues.

ring camera may have been a red herring, I rebooted the doorbell through the app and it started working again. so may have just been a coincidence on those 2 being out at the same time.

For me the camera in HA became unavailable after the 2023.6 (and 6.1) updates. I'm running BI 5.7.7.6 (just updating to 5.7.7.7 now) . For me, issue seems to be fixed by uninstalling, restarting HA, and reinstalling HA integration.

@johnjoemorgan that worked for me as well the first time but not the second. second time when I uninstalled and reinstalled I got a mix of working and non-working cameras. the ones that "worked" were very slow and essentially un-useable

Will monitor and revert Maybe this next BI update will help
