Considering Monitor is not a part of elementary OS or its default apps, shouldn't it be in elementary-community organization?

Well, I think #395 does clarify it is indeed considered by elementary an official app now)

Congrats! Hope it will make it as a pre-installed app in OS 8 as well.

Closing as this movement is intentional to be an official app as @stsdc mentioned. 👍
