Touhou 9 gamepad doesn't work with Dinputto8

Please refer to the title. Touhou 9 in my setup was lagging unless if the mouse is unplugged, reaching 33fps at most, but when Dinputto8 was used (via dxwrapper), it does fix the performance issues but it only receives keyboard input. How do I fix this?
