Issue with alphaListNav and a VueJS component.

I'm trying to use alphaListNav with a VueJS component. It seems that alphaListNav.js is somehow removing the v-on:click events from the tags (div, span, button).
Do you have any suggestions on how to address this? I apologize, if this is something obvious, but I'm very new to VueJS.
