I installed a new version of ATSAS 3.0.1 for win 10 (64x) and saxsdocument cannot be imported in python. Even when I am inside the directory "c/Program Files (x86)/ATSAS 3.0.1/bin/python3.7/site-packages" and there is the saxsdocument.pyd file, it is not visible from python. I am using python 3 64.

Which version of Python are you using? The latest version is 3.8, but from the path above it looks like the saxsdocument.pyd is built for the previous version (3.7). If you are not using version 3.7, try downloading it from https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-377/ and see if that solves the problem.

I am using Python 3.7, but it seems that saxsdocument is incompatible with Python 64 bit (any version), whereas it works fine for Python 32 bit: I created a new conda environment as it is described here:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/33709391/using-multiple-python-engines-32bit-64bit-and-2-7-3-5/33711433
...and it helped. I did not have that problem while using Ubuntu 16, so probably something OS-related.
