Hide items from home gallery

Problem:

My screenshots are cluttering up my timeline in the home gallery. Therefor i would like the option to hide them, whitout putting them behind a password check. This is not only useful for my screenshots.

Solution:

Use the already implemented option Hide shared items from home gallery and add the functionality to every single album.

But:
Ether the functionality has the wrong name or its not what i am looking for.

a collection of historical records

The Screenshot folder is still actively backuped. There is no mention in the article of what status those albums have. When I archive something then I hold those thinks in storage without updating them. Are those archived albums the same?

If this is intended as a hiding function from home gallery, then I would rename this feature reuquest to Renaming Archive for intended purpose...
