I have a dataset with millions of data lines,i used plotscatter to plot these points,the fps drops to nearly zero,i can do nothing but had to close the application.
I have tried solutions below:
use stride parameter to downsample the dataset to 10k size,this works but the plotting become much sparser,this is not a good solution;
learn about lttb downsample algorithm,but this algorithm works fine with time series data,seems not fit for random point cloud.
Is there any good suggestions to improve fps and with acceptable scatter plotting quality?
