Consider support for woff2 font type #10

Maybe it would be also an idea / impulse to use system fonts and do not deliver any font. |
Just a note: Currently WordPress/Gutenberg uses .ttf fonts by default, however that will change soon to use woff/woff2 (see WordPress/gutenberg#57884 - related to WordPress/google-fonts-to-wordpress-collection#1) |
That may be. But just because Gutenberg does it doesn't mean that it's good and gives you carte blanche to do the same :) |
I never said that. What I was saying above is that WP will soon change to woff2 as well, so it would be good to use woff2 here as well. |
All good points. The custom TTF font used in the plugin is only ~1 KB in filesize. |
