Building Dakota using boost 1.84.0 seems to be okay, but for some reason it stalls completely when installing sources and libs. The end result is that the set timeout is reached and the job cancelled.

The actual Dakota build takes ~10 minutes, so something is not right here.

We have decided to postpone this upgrade and wait for the upcoming Dakota release later in 2024.

Small question/remark: I noticed that numpy has now gone to release 2.0. I think you are building with the latest release, so that would mean that this would be build with numpy 2.0. That would be a good thing, since that should be compatible with both numpy 1.0 and 2.0. But it might be good to check that.

Numpy seems to cause some hiccups when boiling the newer versions of Dakota. Need to verify which versions we are able to build and how this might affect others.
