Create article that processes film posters from Wikipedia. Film posters on Wikipedia are lower resolution, so that should give the most prevalent colors to analyze.

Example code: https://www.r-bloggers.com/2019/01/extracting-colours-from-your-images-with-image-quantization/

Questions:

  • How do colors change across years?
  • How consistent are colors within franchises (Toy Story, Cars, Incredibles, etc)
  • Most common colors used across posters?

Visualize and cluster movies by poster. What is the relationship among movies or franchises similar to each other by poster color composition?
