Cantaloupe's latest release 5.0.4 has some as-yet-undocumented PDFBoxProcessor configurations, which is relevant for large PDFs eating up memory. It also has some small bug fixes, one of which is relevant to S3.
One unfortunate downside to this upgrade is that GraphicsMagick/ImageMagick is no longer supported as a processor so the formats currently being processed by both will have to be distributed across the remaining processors.
