What?

IIIF Specs say a canvas can be a deference able URL (external) but 0 (ZERO) viewers implement the spec. This would be the ideal situation for us, allowing Very large CWS IIIF manifests to be generated on the fly without running out of memory/space.

I can code this into OSD at least.
