Context

Thanks to the incredible contributions from hundreds of community members, we’ve created a large swath of excellent educational resources on ethereum.org. However, we still have gaps in our content where we are not addressing some fundamental questions about how Ethereum works. Meanwhile, great new content ideas constantly surface in our Discord and on GitHub, but we don’t yet have a solid framework for prioritising these within our content roadmap.

Through SEO tools and manual content auditing, we aim to identify such gaps and build an editorial calendar that helps prioritize content opportunities by their impact, allowing us to create more critical content faster.

Our north star is onboarding users to Ethereum as per the first two points in our mission statement and the clear about the disparity between non-technical and technical resources we have on ethereum.org.

Deliverables

As part of our Q3 roadmap, we'd like to achieve the following:

  • Investigate ten topics using SEO tooling
  • Identify content gaps
  • Create SEO-driven briefs for writing new content or improving existing content
  • Create an editorial calendar/content priority list

Closing this out as it is no longer a priority on our Q4 roadmap. Check out our #content-strategy channel on Discord if you're still interested in discussing content strategy.
