Description

Overall aim is to deepen the research underlying the energy consumption page. Specific objectives:

• literature search for additional references/numbers: contributor PR Inclusion of novel estimates for the energy consumption of Ethereum post-Merge (PoS) #8293 and my PR update energy consumption page #8376
• update text to ensure nuances and caveats are clear update energy consumption page #8376
• look for more "primary" sources for quoted numbers update energy consumption page #8376
• update graphics if necessary update energy consumption page #8376
• scope out incorporating "live" estimates on the page: dropped from scope—we agreed this was not worthwhile.
