I installed the profile tool. I displayed a raster dataset whose values are in meters below subsea(all negative values). I started the profile tool with this raster layer as active. I added the layer using the 'add layer' button. I had to manually edit the min and max values as shown in the picture below. It would be great if the min and max were automatically computed based on the min max in the raster dataset.

Separately, the digitizing of a line starts with a MB1 click, followed by a MB1 double click. Request that the rubber band be terminated based on a RMB 'terminate' or MB2......if three button mouse. Double clicking for an old guy is hard to do...!!!

Would also be great if this worked with contour line based shapefiles where the field is called 'contour'. I have one of these and the tool says it is cannot be used.
