Are there any naming requirements for folders and files?

Thanks for the great theme. I would like to use it to create language slideshows, which I want to store in subfolders based on language. I would also like to be able to give the URLs meaningful names. However, after lots of experimenting, I can only see files that immediately in the content/slide folder (no subfolders) and named [digit][digit].md.

Is there a workaround for this?
