Many famous historical events were photographed in black and white in order to convey the atmosphere of past events and make them look glamorous and fashionable when the European aristocracy and beau monde were the part of it. The first series consists of various periods of European history, describing the process of conquering the lands overseas by European colonial empires in pictures.

It starts in 20th century Europe, when some famous historical events took place, like the infamous RMS Titanic cruise, portraying the events before the catastrophe. Some archive photos, like the Elizabeth II royal train interior, his arrival to the 20th century Paris, the members of royal family visiting the Musee d'Orsay clocks, then were present on the wedding event of their noble relative from Continental Europe. The events as they have been described here are not set in a chronological order and introduced in a form of memoir.
