Examples:

log + console output, call make with environment variable + parameter
In all modes, the build will be timed (via "time") and the result printed
to the chosen output channels.
User-specified pre/post-make actions such as sending an e-mail notification
after a long build can be specified in files named fmake_pre and fmake_post.
The files are optional, but have to be executable if they exist. They may be
of any type, e.g. Bash/Perl/Python/Lua scripts or even compiled executables.
In fmake_post you may use the following environment variables:
FMAKE_TARGET - make target(s)
FMAKE_RESULT - make exit code (0=OK)
FMAKE_TIME - duration of build process
FMAKE_LOG - log file name, if any
